I recently got a mouse to use with my laptop when I needed to do more work. I had an issue with the cursor 'freezing' occasionally. I found the cause was because of the tunable (Autosuspend for USB device USB receiver [Logitech]) was set to Good. I set this to Bad and hoped that would be the end of it. It worked, but only temporarily.
Now whenever restart, switch to battery from AC (or vica-versa), or even wake my laptop from sleep, it always resets to Good.
Is there any way to set this on a Whitelist so it always keeps it as Bad?

Usually this doesn't happen by itself. Do you use laptop-mode-tools?

Yes I do, I didn't think about that. would that be the problem?
EDIT: Thank you! That steered me in the right direction! I added my receiver to the autosuspend blacklist in usb-autosuspend.conf. Thanks a ton!

So is this issue solved? If so, please add a [solved] to the thread title.
