i586 - where's the /setup directory?

Is there some reason for not having the setup directory, and its contents, on i586? I was hoping to modify the archbootstrap script for 586 purposes, but I'm not having any luck, principally because the 586 repo does not have a packages.txt file, which is found in a /setup directory on 686 repos, e.g.

ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/current/os/i686 … ckages.txt

along with the pacman package.

This came up in an earlier thread, but I'm not seeing it on the 586 repos.

Any info would be appreciated
