Hi,
what was that again about Gtk-Gvim (resp. other Gtk-applications) and ~/.Xdefaults?
It doesn't obey to it, right? e.g.:
gvim*geometry: 200x200+1+1
Gvim*geometry: 200x200+1+1
Doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know a workaround? Maybe something I could specify in ~/.gtkrc?

According to these VIM docs, the GTK version of gvim doesn't use Xdefaults. Instead, you have to use the -geometry option on the command line. And can't Fluxbox, FVWM and some other WMs remember the geometry of apps? I don't know what WM you use, but that might be another option you could explore.

Hi, I have in my ~/.gvimrc this:
winsize 110 45
winpos 33 20
