Assuming drive cache: write through

So I was checking /var/log/error.log and I got this error:

It doesn't seem to be having any effect, the drive still mounts as normal and is accessible, but it would be nice to fix it. It would be a start to be told what it even means?

The drive is an external and connected over USB, with one ext3 partition and one FAT32. Googling has only turned up abandoned unanswered threads, hopefully this one can be more successful.

On a related note, the ext2 drivers in Windows won't read this drive though they cope with my others fine, I'm wondering if this is related as it's the only error I'm seeing.

I assumed it was an error because it was in errors.log, that seems intuitive to me!

As for missing that page? Yeah, my bad, think I must have been braindead when I skimmed over that one. Cheers.
