HelloI have this notebook and I'got serious problem with Bluetooth
archlinux just do not see my adapter...
I have runned Ubuntu earlier which saw my BT adapter until I upgraded to 10.4 Natty
I just switched to Archlinux several months ago and i finally decided to makesomething with it
Problem is that i do not now what....
I didn't see my BT adapter in lshw....only thing close to wireless is AR9287 Wireless Network Adapter
and of course hcitool says: "No Device"
P.S: I tried to switch BT on with hw button (Fn+F3) but it only turned wifi off... nothing changed with bt
Do you have any suggestions? please? :-)

What does "rfkill list" return? Can you see anything that looks like a BT device in either lsusb or lspci? Is the "acer_wmi" module loaded? Is the "bluetooth" service running?

Ok, so I loaded acer_wmi (not loade, my fail) and
rfkill list:
rfkill list
0: acer-wireless: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: yes
Hard blocked: no
1: acer-bluetooth: Bluetooth
Soft blocked: yes
Hard blocked: no
2: phy0: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
but i still can't see a thing in lsusb,lspci...
bluetooth is running

It's rather odd that your WiFi was working without the module, but you can use rfkill to unblock the bluetooth and see if it makes any difference.
