Red Eclipse on nebook

I'm trying to play Red Eclipse on my acer aspire one D257. normally I get 5-12 FPS but I Tried running it in a separate X Server(https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Urban_Terror) and the FPS will jump to ~55 but will not stay that high for long usally it will be 10 - 15. Does anyone have any tips for Improving performance( I already play in lowest settings ), or any games that run well on a netbook. I'm not expecting a amazing FPS it is a netbook afterall. I just want it to be playable

Re: Red Eclipse on nebook

Openarena is one of the more basic shooters and it should run quite well.
Urban Terror itself should be also quite possible... Maybe tremulous?

It might be possible to squeeze some more FPS out of it by compiling xf86-video-intel-git with --enable-sna (though that could have some side effects) and using a git kernel and git mesa.
