Cinnamon Desktop for Arch

I'm trying to get the Cinnamon Desktop working from the AUR.
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php? … 3&detail=1

I got to the point of running makepkg -s, when I hit a snag;

==> Retrieving Sources...
  -> Found cinnamon.session
  -> Found cinnamon.xsession
==> Validating source files with sha512sums...
    cinnamon.session ... Passed
    cinnamon.xsession ... Passed
==> Extracting Sources...
==> Starting build()...
==> Connecting to GIT server....
Cloning into 'Cinnamon'...
error: The requested URL returned error: 403 while accessing https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon.git/info/refs
fatal: HTTP request failed
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
    Aborting...

Any way past this stumper?

Re: Cinnamon Desktop for Arch

That link seems, for lack of a better word, broken.  You can try again later or contact the maintainer:

It looks like the PKGBUILD may need to be updated.  Of course you could check out the git page and edit the PKGBUILD yourself if you're in a hurry.

Re: Cinnamon Desktop for Arch

I'm pretty "green" to be editing anything. I did send word to the developers..sorta.

Re: Cinnamon Desktop for Arch

I'm also fairly 'green', but the issue may not be with the source itself, but it may be with the (arch-specific) PKGBUILD.  The first line of a PKGBUILD shows who in the arch community maintains that package for the AUR - that would be a better person to contact if no other reports of the problem are showing up.
