Why static-linked Opera???

Hi All!

Could somebody explain to me why the new opera pkgs is a statically-linked one?? The menu text now use X's terrible fonts and it hurts my eyes!

BTW I hate static version for the same reason (it can't use antialiased fonts - more info in opera FAQs) so I'll probably hold with an upgrade or just build a shared version with ABS.

No need to, just sit it out. We are rolling back to the older qt version
since the new stuff is really buggin' the other packages. See tpowa's post on the ML.
