R.I.P. Compiz-Fusion?

Hey guys,

Today I've read a new post at smspillaz blog.

As far as I read, smspillaz is not going to release a new Compiz (0.9.x/1.0) in the next time. Maybe it's the end of compiz. Hm… :'( Too bad, compiz was an awesome project.

Every time I read "RIP compiz" something awesome happens and the one who wrote "RIP" suddenly feels a little odd and awkward. Don't write the obituary, just because the main dev has an X-mass depression.

I must object. If what you stated is true, then people should write "RIP compiz" all the time in order for many more awesome things to happen

He never stated he would stop working on compiz, just that he was having trouble
relevant reddit thread
