I'm having a problem running the ivman daemon. I have it set in rc.conf.
DAEMONS=(syslog-ng !hotplug !pcmcia network netfs crond alsa dbus hal ivman)
When I boot up, I get something along the lines of:
$ sudo /etc/rc.d/ivman start
:: Starting ivman Device Manager [BUSY]
ivman 0.6.4, http://ivman.sourceforge.net
Compiled against HAL 0.5.x or later
Running in system mode
daemonize.c:39 (daemonize) Daemonizing...
[DONE]
That all sounds good but it isn't actually running. I have to manually run "ivman&" to get it to run. Am I missing something?
ETA: I know I could simply add it to .xinitrc or something but I'd like to get it working the "right" way.

:oops:
Thanks tomk. I just tried out ivman for the first time so I probably didn't pay attention to the thread at the time. I don't know why I didn't search though...
Yay, it's fixed
