I am interested in booting arch install iso from grub.
At the moment I have mounted image on a loop device and copied files across to a new directory
Set up a grub to boot vmlinuz and load archiso.img
Thing is I keep getting dropped to ramfs, so guessing the image/ramdisk etc is not getting set up
Managed to open up archiso.img but not sure what I am looking for that might help.
Figure that I need to change something or maybe write a script to allow init to boot
Any pointers if this possible?

add earlymodules=loop as workaround in kernel command line

Did not work still get dropped to ramfs
Wondering if root=/dev/ram0 might work?
Waiting 30 seconds for device /dev/disk/by-label/

oh no root=/dev/ram0 is from linux-2.4 era
What are exactly are you doing? Looks like you are missing archisolabel= parameter, (the most important)
