Okay so I got 2 ssd's, one with arch (sdc) and the other with windows (sda). I installed windows first then arch. I set grub_bios-install --no-floppy /dev/sdc. I installed os-prober from the aur. The problem is when I configure grub in finds arch find, but no windows. It says "No volume groups found". Can any one please help be? I would very much appreciate it.

Grub2 Archwiki shows how to add Windows 7 without using OS Prober. That's how I did it.

Could you post your /boot/grub/menu.lst file.

Tried with grub-mkconfig:
sudo: grub-mkconfig: command not found

The command for grub2 is: # grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
If you are running grub1, the methods are all different.

(For Classic Grub)
You could add it to the menu.lst manually.
sudo nano /boot/grub/menu.lst
Windows Entry:
title Windows
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1
Just change the hd0,0 to where Windows 7 boot sector is located. For me it's hd0,1 so partition 1 of hard drive 0.

Yeah, grub2 wasn't installed. Was using the first version.

Okay, so I figured out my problem. Windows installed the boot loader to my arch ssd and I wrote over it when I installed arch. Windows is officially retarded.
