I have a big problem with my video drivers. I first I installed the noveau drivers and everything works, but I need the nvidia drivers for 3D support. So install all the packages for that and run the config. Then I try to startx and I get "no screens found".

I don't know what other information you guys need to help, but I can get it. Thanks for help!
Edit: According to the wiki you can get this error if you are also running a intel integrated chip, but I am not.

The log says the nvidia module wasn't found. have you rebooted since installing nvidia?
You're just jealous because the voices only talk to me.
Offline
Okay, so I rebooted and now I am staring at a lovely back screen. I cannot do anything
Offline
What did you expect to see?
Offline
Eh, hopefully a shell? Anyway I can get back too it from here? The wiki says to reboot after installing the drivers and such.

Just to make sure, how exactly are you starting X - from .xinitrc? Can you post it?
Offline
I would be I cannot see anything on my screen. Looks like I am going to have to wipe.
Offline
Are you seeing the boot loader and the boot process (daemons etc.)? Are you booting to the console or straight to X?
Offline
I get past the boot loader and I get a few of the lines of the loading screen. Then it tries to re size and goes black. I assume that is when it loads the videos drivers or x.
