touchpad on latitude D630 stopped working after upgrade [SELF-SOLVED]
upgrade was from linux 3.1.6-1 to 3.1.9-2
What options do I have - downgrade linux? install new linux from testing?

Thanks for pointing that out - next time I booted the pad worked again - and now the log from the non-working session has gone.
