Installing with only Wireless - Airlink AWLH6074 / Ralink 2760

Hi, I'm wanting to install arch linux but am very new and could use some help.

Specifically I'm reading the Wireless Setup for setting up if I only have access to wireless, as is the case. This is where I'm confused. The card I have is an Airlink AWLH 6075 which I understand takes the driver for Ralink 2760 and then works with linux.

I'm lost on what I'll need before installing and how to actually get the wifi and drivers set up correctly. The forums have very little on this and nothing on this exact card, I've read both of these pages but am not seeing the answer (or if it is there I must just not be understanding it):

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wireless_Setup

I haven't started installing Arch yet because I want to try and make sure it goes smoothly before I do it. I should mention it is not going on a dual boot. I was just given a Windows Vista computer and I intend to wipe it completely.

My main questions:

1. If I purchase the CD will it have what I need on it or what if anything do I need to do special to my boot cd to make sure I can get on?
2. Do I need this Knoppix CD that the first link (above) suggests having?
3. Could someone do a step by step on how to make sure it gets installed with the right driver as I don't see the 2760 listed anywhere on that second link.

I'm confident that if I can get the system online I can follow tutorials and wikis to get everything setup, I'm just not confident I can get it online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, you don't need a Knoppix CD. The Arch install CD has everything you need. You just need to learn how to start a wireless connection - it's on that Wireless_Setup wiki page, "Manual Setup": https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … nual_setup
