Hello everyone,
I have a weird problem. Icons in tray area are just disappeared, only names are showed and right click doesn't produce anything. Even choosing "Open" from left-click menu is useless.
The softwares that are generally supposed to show themselves are zim wiki editor in background and dropbox status icon. Both programmes are up to date.
I use Gnome-shell 3.2.2-1, 3.2.1-1-ARCH kernel and nvidia drivers version 290.10-2 on i686.
I searched in old forum entries without success, I'm sorry if it's a known problem and I stupidly did not find that.
Thank you, have a good time.

I have the same problem. Would be an upgrade issue?

Yes, it must be an upgrade issue, I downgraded gnome-shell to 3.2.1-1 and system tray began to work again. I suppose I have to wait an upstream fix for gnome.
Anyway, thanks for informations and sorry if I could not realize this before posting here.
Take care
EDIT: Gnome-shell 3.2.2-1 was rapidly fixed, so problem disappears if you just upgrade the buggy 3.2.2-1 version to fixed 3.2.2-2 version. Thanks to developers and contributors constant and efficient work.

Another thing: should I make a bug report in Arch bug tracker? What can I do now? Thanks for your patience.

Still an issue with Deluge. Clicking on the tray icon doesn't do anything.

I don't know what it could be but if you don't have other icon problems except for Deluge, I would think that it's a Deluge specific problem. Just wondering, I'm sorry if I cannot help you solving your problem..

Found out Clementine also has problems.
Another downside - I've read here that the problem has been solved and deleted the old package. Can't downgrade now.

I'm not sure I understood, why you should downgrade package if the problem has been solved? What exactly would you like to perform?

It has been solved but I still have issues.
I want to go back to the previous version. I hadn't had any problems with that.

You should check if you still have package for previous version in pacman cache, you should check into /var/cache/pacman/pkg/, following command should do the work:
$ ls /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ | grep "clementine"
Check in the output what cached package version you have.
If you have recently done a pacman -Scc or you manually deleted the package, you may need to retrieve the old package from the internet. You should check in the Arch Rollback Machine database, here: http://arm.konnichi.com/search/.
In both case, after you have the desired version of your package, you can install it with a
# pacman -U /path/to/package
specifying, of course, the path to the package you want to install.
I hope this may be helpful.

Thanks!
Everything is working fine now.
I was running version 3.2.2-1.
I found version 3.2.2-2 in the Arch Rollback database which fixed these issues.
