Just got a PalmOne Tungsten T5. It comes with realplayer to play some MP3s but... I want to play some Oggs.
I can't find a free palmos app (brand new at this) to play ogg files. Any ideas? Also how to install them from Linux?
Thanks. Sorry for the total newbie sounding post, but that's what I am.

Realplayer?
I wonder if that's the first spyware for PalmOS...
(I have some major suspicions about the Linux version as it happens.)

I found aeroplayer: http://www.aerodrome.us/ but I don't know how to install it (palm doesn't have pacman!!!!).
The zip file includes some files named .prc. Can I just copy these to the palm, or are they installers? If just copy, how to install?
I haven't got the sucker to sync yet; I'm using USB mass driver mode to copy files. This is good enough for me IF I can install software that way...
Thanks!

Ok... I just copied the player and vorbis files to /palm/launcher and it plays!
Still can't figure out how to get the Aerodrome player in my menu. Maybe that's what the installer would do or maybe I need a PalmOS manual.

To install stuff on a palm, you usually do it via the sync software.

Just haven't got the sync device working yet. :-( KPilot keeps crashing and JPilot won't connect. I'll post some errors if I play with it some more later.

You might want to try reading the pilot-link (that's what jpilot uses) instructions. My palm is one of those old fashioned COM port ones, so setting it up was trivial, I assume that this is a tad more difficult.

I'm getting errors with pilot-link too, I think perhaps my palm is too new to sync with. I'm managing all right with the mass storage driver though.
