Dear Archers
My friend wants to install archlinux on D: drive of his HDD which is 160GB, which has 5 partitions apart from D: drive. D drive is 30GB, and he wants AL to sit exactly here, without disturbing data on other partitions.
I need your inputs ro realize this

Well an output of fdisk -l would be really helpful (from a live disc, of course).

I wil get it from my friend. He already has the installation CD.
Wouldyou recommend a new HDD?Is this too much of a trouble?

New HDD isn't necessary, but if he intends to buy one then it would be a better choice.
