After latest upgrade of packages, I now get this following errors on my Asus EEE 901 NetBook.
When I boot my arch install, I simply get this following message:
INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
When I run "startx" manually, I get this error:
/usr/bin/X: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libpixman-1.so.0: file too short
xinit: giving up
xinit: unable to connect to X server: Connection refused
xinit: server error
INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Did you try reinstalling pixman yet?

check /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-gpudriver.conf
I believe you have to edit that to match the currently used driver, I know when I switch between nv and nvidia drivers I always just change that from either "nv" to "nvidia" or the other way around. I always get the respawning to fast error if I forget to modify the file.

Yes I've re-installed pixman and poppler. Then removed libpixman files from /usr/lib/ and it started working.
Also, I needed to mv /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.pacsave /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf Thanks
