[CUPS] Setup for Epson DX4250 USB printer [solved]

Hello,

I wanted to set up my usb printer. The cups daemon is running and I tried to add my printer via the web interface but there is not local printer found. All I get is the list to select one of the network support protocols (http, ipps, ...).

Furthermore I tried it with usblp module being loaded and blacklisted but no change. Both times I get the desired message in the logs.

What else can I try?

Edit:

I was able to add my printer by using the cups-usblp package and not blacklisting usblp.
