Gnome 3 Printing Service Not Available

This is a fresh install of Arch and I'm trying to get my Canon iP4700 to work. I'm running Gnome 3 and when I go to the Printers settings tab I get this message:
"Sorry! The system printing service doesn't seem to be available."

I've got CUPS, Gutenprint installed. What else do I need or what am I doing wrong?

Try the drivers from Canon for your printer.

Have you started the cupsd service?
$ sudo rc.d start cupsd

$ sudo rc.d start cupsd

If it is that, be also sure to put "cupsd" in your DAMEONS array in the file "/etc/rc.conf".
