As I am going to be away from keyboard for the next month, and will probably be very busy with grad school this fall, I am submitting my resignation as Forum Moderator here at bbs.archlinux.org.
I would like to apologize for the recent moderation issues. I take responsibility for most of the problems that have been going on. For the most part, it has been my decisions that have been contentiously regarded.
Phrakture, Dibblethewrecker, Penguin, and our friendly forum admin, Rasat will likely be making some community-friendly changes in the weeks to come. I hope to see a friendlier atmosphere when I come back online in September!
Take care everybody! Support your forum advisors. They've worked both thanklessly and tirelessly to keep the forums clear of spam and troll posts and relocating posts made to the wrong forum. If you've ever wondered why bbs.archlinux.org is so searchable, they deserve the credit. :-)
Have fun working your ass off in grad school!
absolutely nothing to apologise for Dusty.
Walking the edge of a razor cant be a comfortable place, and you've done a sterling job thats often a thankless task, nevertheless an essential one.
Hope you're back soon.
People like yourself and the others you mention make this forum a bearable place to be, and your decisions appear always to be considered ones.
Have a good time while you're away, and dont work too hard.
take care. 8)
Have fun and good luck Dusty! Don't forget about us

We will miss your witt, assistance, and diligence - but most of all we will miss you presence. Good luck and I hope to see you soon.
Your work is very apreciated. I wish I had the time to dedicate to Arch that you all do. I am sure that you will do your best to fill the void Dusty will be leaving us.
Best of luck with your grad, Dusty.

I agree with Kern, no need to apologise, Dusty.
I know I've contributed to the anti-mod discussion of late, but it's nothing personal matey (see my family analogy).
It'll be quiet whilst you're away but I'm sure you'll be back shortly, and you can relax more since you won't have all the mod responsibilities.
Being a postgrad is great fun, btw Good luck.
have a good vacation dusty.
