ArchLinux: downtime

Anyone know what happened yesterday that caused the long downtime?  There was a period of about 11 hours that I couldn't pull up the http section of the Arch website at all.  FTP connections to Arch did work, however.

Anyway, several friends around the globe tried to connect at my request and they couldn't get through, either.  I also know of several other Arch members that couldn't pull it up.

Just wondering what the cause might have been because I've been having some odd problems with connections and/or speed with this website for the last several weekends, usually on Saturday afternoons, it seems.

Maybe it had something to do with the update to the AUR.
