lXDE and locale

Hello,

I set up LXDE for the laptop of my childs. One likes to use the DE in English and other likes Chinese for her studies.

I'm in difficulties to set the chinese DE even I installed chinese fonts and SCIM is up and working.

One issue it is to make SCIM appear at the LXDE startup. Opening Firefox or gedit it won't go, but it does when opening lxterminal. That's why I put into autostart. In that way SCIM it prompt and my daughter can choose which language to use on the spot.

I'd like if all the menus will appear in Chinese, but maybe it would be a bit of fiddling on the .desktop files. What I still don't get is that I can't see files name converted into chinese characters.

I saw the wiki, unfortunately I probably miss some step or the LDXE hasn't much features about locales.

do it good first, it will be faster than do it twice the saint wink
