PC Crashes using 2 monitors on different Nvidia cards

Using Arch x86_64
Nvidia 450 GTS
Nvidia 430 GT

I have set up one monitor to use my 450 GTS via DVI, and another monitor to use my 430 GT, and they were configured using nvidia-settings for separate X screens. My problem is that occasionally while using the monitor hooked up to the 430 GT (just using programs in general) the whole computer locks up, and I can do nothing but hit the reboot button. I was astonished the first time this happened because that has never happened to my while using linux. I have a hunch that this may be related to the card itself because my brother was having trouble with it under windows 7, but I'd like to know if anyone else has had similiar issues. What do you guys think?

Also quick question, is it possible to use 3 monitors on 1 video card? For example my card has a vga, dvi, and hdmi output, is it possible to use these 3 at the same time? Or is it limited to only 2?
