Hi, my virtualbox guest module had stop working after some updated (kernel?). Virtualbox still works but screen resolution doesnt adjust automatically without this module.
sudo modprobe -av vboxguest
insmod /lib/modules/3.2.4-1-ARCH/extramodules/vboxguest.ko.gz
ERROR: could not insert 'vboxguest': No such device
$ find /lib/modules/ -iname "vbox*"
/lib/modules/extramodules-3.2-ARCH/vboxdrv.ko.gz
/lib/modules/extramodules-3.2-ARCH/vboxpci.ko.gz
/lib/modules/extramodules-3.2-ARCH/vboxnetflt.ko.gz
/lib/modules/extramodules-3.2-ARCH/vboxvideo.ko.gz
/lib/modules/extramodules-3.2-ARCH/vboxnetadp.ko.gz
/lib/modules/extramodules-3.2-ARCH/vboxsf.ko.gz
/lib/modules/extramodules-3.2-ARCH/vboxguest.ko.gz
all other vbox* modules loads properly, only vboxguest does not. And yes - I did reinstall all vbox packages and did reboot.
Pls help.

I tested it and upgraded one of my virtualbox archlinux guests, it worked without problems.
Do you have the official virtualbox guest additions installed? You shouldnt do that. If so uninstall them and then install the package
pacman -S virtualbox-archlinux-additions
pacman -Qs virtualbox
should give
local/virtualbox-archlinux-additions 4.1.8-2
local/virtualbox-archlinux-modules 4.1.8-3
