I plan on upgrading my entire computer within the next month or so and from what I understand some extra work will need to go into booting with a UEFI based motherboard. I've read through the article in the wiki as well as several others about setting up grub2 with UEFI support but I can't seem to make sense of exactly what I'll need to do to ensure my system boots up after installing.
My original intent would be to install Archlinux first and then Windows7 onto another disk and dual boot. Might it be easier to do things the other way around? At least that way I'll have a working OS from the start if I can't get things going on Archlinux in one go.
My main confusions seem to be around the MBR/GPT partitioning, specific UEFI partitions and exactly how dual-booting might be effected with all this new stuff going around in the system. It also doesn't help that I can't seem to find anything in the install guide mentioning UEFI so I'm not totally sure how to work the information from the wiki into a new install before the initial boot-up without the livecd.
Any help in making sense of all this would be greatly appreciated. I prefer Archlinux as my primary OS, but the thought of not being able to figure out how to boot it has me worried.

Using Archboot iso should be pretty straight forward in UEFI booting. In UEFI dual-boot the order of OS installations do not matter much since the bootloader files or one OS are not overwritten by another. Only the order in the UEFI boot menu might change.
