dictionary

i would like to have an offline dictionary on my comp. running arch/fluxbox

recent convert from ubuntu. it was simple on thur. dunno what the packages are now... ive tryed the old way:

onus, these instructions are for Ubuntu, so they may not work in Arch - we use pacman, not apt-get.
Which packages are you looking for? Check in the repos, look for them in the AUR (as GERGE suggested).


Edit: Package names may be different too, so try searching for parts of the name, like 'moby' or 'gcide'.

yes i know, pacman and all that.
thank you gerge. artha is awesome. is there a way to add repositorys like:

english to latin
english to german
etc...

just use AUR and find the dict-freedict-package that im want?
is it rlly that simple?
