I know conventionally AUR packages download their source files from the developer site while tweaks/supporting files are compressed with the PKGBUILD. However, I'm trying to make a package of a file hosted at CodePlex, which makes it excessively difficult to get a direct download link, as it triggers the download by a JavaScript command once you agree to an EULA.
If it's still unwise to put a redistribution of the downloaded file in the package, could someone help me please?

You could host the source yourself (please get permission to do so, first). Dropbox for example allows public hosting of files (with a bandwidth cap).

Really? I'dve thought with the takedown of MegaUpload, file hosting services would be on edge.

Well, nobody'd really be able to file-share on any scale with dropbox due to the limits, but for a single-file hosting (assuming the fact that its in the AUR means its not 200-download-a-week-popular) that shouldn't be a problem.

I know a few AUR packages have CodePlex download links. But the way these links are structured confuses me.
For example, here's the download link of a source file in the AUR package fsharp:
http://download.codeplex.com/Download?ProjectName=fsharppowerpack&DownloadId=122711&FileTime=129367247874000000&Build=18337
No matter how hard I search Google for an answer on decyphering this, I've been unable to find an answer. I think my dilemma lies in the 'FileTime' parameter. I'm guessing that has to be, like, seconds since 12/31/1969.
