KDE crashes when trying to play videos with bangarang

I use KDE 4.8 with phonon-gstreamer backend, I installed all of the gstreamer plugins (using gstreamer0.10-plugins), I also installed gstreamer-vaapi,
now I can play audio files (mp3s) but when I try to play any video file bangarang says loading and never ends until I press the play button then boom, the whole KDE crashes and I'm back to login screen.
