Over-current condition warning
Today I start, without installing or updating any package, getting a warning:
hub 2-0:1.0: over-current condition on port 2
This is printed to the (Linux VT) terminal about 5 times from time to time, rather often.
I understand that this might be cause the laptops USB hub gets an over-current,
or only thinks so. Put this is printed even when the USB:s ports do no have any
plugged in devices and when then the computer uses the battery (and when loading).
How do I suppress this warning?

Be careful about that. In worst scenario, your power supply unit may be faulty, which could jeopardize your whole system. Or it's just a false alarm and nothing wrong is actually going on. Either way, it's not safe to just dismiss the message.
USB voltage is 5 V (+- 0.25 V). I never actually looked into this as I didn't have to, but I'm sure there's some monitoring software that will tell you the actual port voltage. Or maybe even BIOS? This is where I'd start. Only after you prove beyond any doubt that your power supply works as it should you can start to figure out how to dismiss the message.
Quick thought, do all your USB ports work as they should? Can you verify that not only do they supply power, but also that they can transfer data?
Running arch is like raising a puppy - if you spend a bit of time with it each day and do just a bit of training you'll end up with the most loyal partner you could want; if you lock it in a room and don't check on if for several days, it'll tear apart your stuff and poop everywhere.

Everything is working as it should, but I have not checked the voltage just yet.
But if it is a false alarm, how to this disable that warning?
Edit: syslinux does not have that tool, remembered wrong.
Follow up: My BIOS does not have any tool for voltage measuring.

Can you post the output of lsusb -v with nothing plugged into your ports?

output in a while. I have applied some power saving and have since not got any warnings.

The output of lsusb looks reasonable to me. I was mostly looking for internal devices (My machine has a webcam with an internal USB connection).

I did a little bit of googling on this, and it seems that accurately measuring usb output voltage and current isn't as easy as it seems, you probably would have to either buy a usb voltage and current tester or make one of your own, if you're adept in electrics. Most people in discussions agree upon one thing though, that this is not to be trifled with. Over current can be damaging to either your usb peripherals (depends on what you connect) or even your computer components.
Running arch is like raising a puppy - if you spend a bit of time with it each day and do just a bit of training you'll end up with the most loyal partner you could want; if you lock it in a room and don't check on if for several days, it'll tear apart your stuff and poop everywhere.

Now I only get one print once in a while.
Earlier ^@ (ctrl+space) was feed to stdin, but I have not had that problem since this started;
somehow I think it is connected.
