[SOLVED]problems suspending to ram on ideapad Z575

The problem I am having is the laptop will suspend, but when I wake it up I just get a blank screen. I have already tried everything on the pm-utils wiki page and I have added hpet=disable to my boot options in grub.

laptop specs are:

AMD A8 3500m
AMD radeon 6620g for graphics(integrated into cpu)
8gbs of ram

Also I am using gnome 3 and the open source drivers

Any advice?

I have solved it. I did everything suggested on the wiki and also have the hpet=disable and acpi_sleep=s3_bios to my kernel boot lines it works.
