Last week I had to take the cdrom reader out of the PC for a few days and when I plugged it back in, the boot process began to take between 1-2 minutes longer that what it used to and with some messages from UDev complying something about the cdrom. After the boot process the cdrom works OK.
When I unplug the cdrom reader the boot process goes smoothly with no complains.
I'm sorry I can't put any more information but I have no idea what is going on here or how to solve it.
