Hello everyone!
I have a Problem with my Laptop. It gets really hot though I decreased the CPU-Frequency to only 800Mhz.
I think that I'm missing a module for the access to the mainboard thermal sensors.
The output of sensors is as following:
nouveau-pci-0100
Adapter: PCI adapter
temp1: +65.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +110.0°C)
coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Physical id 0: +73.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 0: +71.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 1: +72.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 2: +68.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 3: +68.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
I can't modprobe the it87 driver.
Please help me I don't know what to do. I have an Acer Aspire 5750g if you need to know my Hardware.

No nothing there. I reformulate my question.
Is it possible for me to control the fan speed when I can't modprobe the modul it87?
My CPU-Speed is already being regulated.

Hy again! I just wanted to say that I solved the problem by turning off my nvidia graphics card in bios.
Now my cpu-temperature never gets over 50°C.

Do you have an optimus card? Bumblebee with bbswitch will help this if it is, and allow you to use your video card if you want/need to.
Why are these the only problems i feel i can help with?!
