Arch-Linux kernel

Dear Archers
Parabola Linux uses Linux libre kernel, does that mean that this is directly in 'as is' condition as released by Linus?
Is the Arch-linux kernel patched by Arch developers?
Is any distro using the Kernel as released directly by Linus in 'as is' condition

Re: Arch-Linux kernel

You can see what patches are applied to every package: http://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/ … ages/linux

You can see the patches.

Yes, but not the major ones. E.g. Fedora's kernel git, and koji - look inside at all the patches.

It's even worse for glibc, which needs loads of patches applied to the released versions to be stable.
