Google Summer of Code

Hi everyone,

Do know if somebody from Archlinux core team plans to apply for the Google Summer of Code?

If not, what do you think, who better to talk about this?

I have a few ideas for GSoC+arch. One of the most interesting ideas for me is to make a package or dvd-respin that turns arch into a one-click drop-in replacement for GitHub for small business projects. If you have any other suggestions or ideas, you are welcome to post it here and I promise to think about them.

I am a student of a technical university in Novosibirsk, Russia.
I use Arch about 2 years (testing and stable in parallel) and I have integrated it with a few small web-based projects.
Sometimes I translate important news of the [testing] mailing list to the Russian language and publish on sites such as linux.org.ru and habrahabr.ru.
My CV is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zhL … t?hl=en_US

wbr,
Oleg
