The last two builds of vlc (2.0.0.5 and 2.0.0.6) seem to have been built without oss support. the oss output module is missing, and even with an .asoundrc redirecting sound to oss I can't get anything out of VLC other than an error message telling me that the default device is not available. Reverting to 2.0.0.4 fixes the issue.
Is this a problem with the build, or is there a solution that anyone knows of?
