After upgrading this morning X seems to crash with message "x init respawn after 5 minutes". I use ligthtdm and get no login screen, but I can see that X sort of tries to start 4-5 times and then "x init respawn ...". I can log in to tty1 and actually startx but it crashes again after 5 mins. I've tried to reinstall nvidia-ck-kx, I've tried to boot stock kernel, I've installed lts kernal and nvidia lts, exactly the same x crash.
Some logs;
Xorg:

When disableing lightdm login manager and directly login to tty1 and from startx in .bash_profile the problem disappaear. So it seems to be somehting with lightdm or my config thereof. But what? It worked fine until todays updates?
EDIT; installed the ol' workhorse SLIM again and lo and behold; no problems! (with X anyway) There are updates for Slim with the date 2012-02-21 so the romours are wrong about Slim being dead.
