Amarok says audiocd has zero songs

Hi all!

I'm using up-to-date KDE (4.8) and Amarok (2.5.0) and when I try to listen to an audiocd, Amarok detects it, makes it appear into "local music" but says it has zero songs.

Clementine plays it right, though (but I'd like to use tagging and cover management facilities found in Amarok).

I've read several threads... most current and accurate being this one (it's in Spanish) but doesn't offer a solution:

I've also read there used to be a bug in Amarok detecting audio tracks when launch from device notifier (should be fixed in 2.5.0), but I've tried to insert audiocd after launching Amarok... and still does not work.

It's being said that phonon-vlc works better than the gstreamer engine. I've tried both and none work in this matter.

Anybody knows how to fix it?

Thanks so much!
