Java problem

Hi,

It seems java-applets are not working on my system. When I try to load the test java applet I get the following error:

	at java.lang.Object.notify(Native Method)
	at testJava2_1.TestVM$1.run(TestVM.java:90)

This is using openjdk from testing (but extra is the same)

local/icedtea-web-java7 1.1.4-2
local/jre7-openjdk 7.b147_2.0-5
local/jre7-openjdk-headless 7.b147_2.0-5

More importantly, I am not able to log into my online bank.

Have you tried openjdk6?

Indeed. It crashes Fx (10 + aurora) when using the login for my netbank. On the other hand it works with the test applet.

openjdk7 browser plugin is known to be broken for some time.

How do I fix this then? I have the same problem. I cannot log into my online bank

Hi I'm using the Oracle JRE6 and JDK6 from the AUR, They work very well, but because of licensing changes can't be included with Arch, or any other distro.
