A brief description of every pkg:

ams: [NOT WORKING] AlsaModularSynth: AlsaModularSynth is a realtime modular synthesizer and effect processor.

blop: BLOP comprises a set of LADSPA  plugins that generate bandlimited sawtooth, square, variable pulse and slope-variable triangle waves.

cmt: A collection of LADSPA plugins, including Feeeverb.

dssi: API for audio plugins, with particular application for software synthesis plugins with native user interfaces.

dssi-vst: A wrapper plugin enabling the use of many Windows VST plugins.

FIL-plugins: A four-band parametric equaliser.

fluidsynth: a real-time software synthesizer based on the SoundFont 2 specifications

fst: A wrapper for VST

galan: A modular synthesiser - drum-machine - sequencer - effects-unit for Linux and Win32

hexter: A software synthesizer that models the sound generation of a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer

jack-rack: JACK Rack is a LADSPA effects rack for the JACK audio API

jack_fst: [NOT WORKING] jack support for fst

ladspavst: [DON'T KNOW IF IT WORKS] LADSPA support for VST

liblo: Lightweight OSC implementation: an implementation of the Open Sound Control protocol for POSIX systems

MCP-plugins: lowpass filter, highpass filter, phaser and chorus.

muse: [Only works with -d command line parameter] MIDI/Audio sequencer with recording and editing capabilities. MusE aims to be a complete multitrack virtual studio for Linux.

qsynth: Qt GUI for fluidsynth

REV-plugins: Stereo reverb plugin based on the well-known greverb

rezound: [NOT WORKING] ReZound aims to be a stable, open source, and graphical audio file editor primarily for but not limited to the Linux operating system.

rosegarden: [variation of the PKGBUILD in the forums with DSSI support] Audio and MIDI sequencer, score editor, and general-purpose music composition and editing application.

swh-plugins: A collection of LADSPA plugins

vcf: LADSPA  plugins for audio EQ biquad filters based on the  cookbook formulae by Robert Bristow-Johnson.

VCO-plugins: This plugin contains three anti-aliased oscillators

vocoder-ladspa: A vocoder is a sound effect that can make a human voice sound synthetic.

vstsdk: VST plugin's SDK headers needed for VST support.

vstserver: [DON'T KNOW IF IT WORKS] A server for VST plugins

xsynth-dssi: A classic-analog (VCOs-VCF-VCA) style software synthesizer with an editor GUI.

I somehow cannot download the .tar.gz-file you postet. Anyway, what's the problem you have with Alsa Modular Synth? I didn't have any problems getting it to work...

i see the problem downloading. I can download the file if I submit again the url. A free server, is the best thing I have right now. Let's put the file in incoming:

but it says: 550 Failed to change directory.

can you post the build process you did with alsamodularsynth?

Oh... looks like there was an update recently. The current version seems to be 1.0.1. Since I'm not at home ATM, I can't upload the old version and I can't check if the new one works with that PKGBUILD and with ams...
