Re: PacmanXG (Yet another GUI for pacman and yaourt)

I'm unable to provide this dependency for some reason, lib32-libx11.

Running 64-bit if that matters.

Did you enable [Multilib] repo?

"Tried"? That's the only way to get it via pacman.
What exactly did you do - post the commands and the output.

Re: PacmanXG (Yet another GUI for pacman and yaourt)

And the output of 'pacman -Q lib32-libx11' or  'pacman -S lib32-libx11'?
Did you run 'pacman -Syu' after enabling a new repo?

not found

Did you run 'pacman -Syu' after enabling a new repo?

A few times, but just tried it again and noticed that while I uncommented [multilib] in pacman.conf pacman -Syu didn't get imported/updated.

I'm beginning to wonder if it has something to do with the signed repos.  I haven't done a full system update in awhile but am pretty certain I upgraded pacman.  I'm sure it's something simple I just need to fix it on my end.

Re: PacmanXG (Yet another GUI for pacman and yaourt)

Post your pacman.conf.

Edit:

Huh? And just what 'pacman -Syu' does? You need to answer 'y' and update your system.

Re: PacmanXG (Yet another GUI for pacman and yaourt)

I'm going to hold off on the update for another couple weeks, don't want gnome 3.2 quite yet.

Embarrassed to say the problem was my pacman.conf. I'd uncommented the "Include" line beneath [multilib] but failed to uncomment "[multilib]".  Thanks or your patience in sorting that out.

pacmanXG built just fine after I corrected that error, now I look forward to checking it out.

Ah, OK.
There may be a better way, but have you tried ignoring gnome group?

No, I'm pretty new to Arch so taking it slow.  That's something I haven't tried yet, didn't even think to attempt it. Your app makes that easy too, wish me luck. smile

Re: PacmanXG (Yet another GUI for pacman and yaourt)

Would you mind to implement translations and a plugin system to use aur helpers other than yaourt (like appset-qt)? If you can implement translations than i'm willing to translate into turkish...
