Maybe allreade there is a file in installation media that i can alter?

correct me if im wrong, but i need to install first then run that script? i was looking for a way to include it on the bootable cd/dvd so it installs automaticly
standard packages that i had selected,, but maybe thats how it works and i misunderstod
My goal ofc is:
Install linux with xfce or lxde as standard and slim and with firefox and virtualbox and ofc thunderbird for email.
so if its not possible to have it in a installation script or something on cd, maybe someone can direct me to a -how-to- install xfce etc from scratch as i dont know much about this

I'd like to remind you that Arch is a rolling release distro, so even though you can have some packages on the CD, they will get outdated relatively fast. Is there a reason why you can't install them with pacman after you do the basic setup (networking etc.)?

karol: problem is sometimes i need to install on an system that is offline with no internet connection so for me i dont need latest packages just a working
installation from scratch
Archiso seems like a great way to go thanx!
