ATI Radeon DRI Open Source Problems

Hi.

I have build my custom kernel based on 2.6.12 from abs PKGBUILD modified to support Radeon driver.
In the config I used:

The kernel compiled fine and rebooted:
glxinfo gives me direct rendering yes and no errors in dmesg
glxgears gives me about 1200 fps.

The problem is when I start an opengl eg zsnes it freezes my system.

Can someone help me please?
