Chakra Bundles on Arch?

One of the things that I really like about Chakra Linux is their bundle manager system, which allows the user to use GTK apps in KDE by simply downloading an image with all GTK dependencies contained, keeping the system clean of GTK libraries. I was really excited to notice that this landed in the AUR, but when I tried to build cbundles, it said that I was missing the dependency "kde-workspace". To the best of my knowledge and power to investigate, there is no longer any such package as "kde-workspace", and the closest thing I could find was a package I already had installed called "kdebase-workspace". Assuming this was the same package which had probably just been updated with a name change in newer KDE, I changed the PKGBUILD file to depend instead on this latter package. The bundles manager installed just fine, and I could even download bundles, but when I attempted to launch a bundle, it simply would not launch. Has anyone gotten the Chakra bundles manager working on Arch successfully?

My advice: if you want to use chakra: use chakra.

Bundles are a great way to have multiple copies of the same library on your system...  It is more efficient to just use the standard packagaes

Re: Chakra Bundles on Arch?

I've used Chakra before, and didn't like it... it was clunky and unstable... this was just one of the aspects I actually did like about it... thanks for the tip though...

Re: Chakra Bundles on Arch?

I think I have fixed this in AUR some time ago. Can you report if it works for you or not?
