Thinkpad T61P - No Keyboard in X

EDIT EDIT: Nope.... Same old problem: It's back
EDIT: This is resolved - Reinstalled from scratch hmm works OK now.

Hi all,

Getting an issue where I cannot use the built in laptop keyboard or touchpad when in X (But the trackpoint DOES work hmm)

Laptop is a Lenovo T61P
Kernel 3.1.5.1 & latest XORG and NVIDIA drivers.

Any idea why this might be happening?

Cheers,

Mike.

Posting some logs shouldn't hurt.

Does the keyboard work in the console? Did it work in X previously?

Had a look through the ususal suspects, log wise but didn't see anything that caught my eye.

Do you have:

-  xf86-input-evdev installed?
-  /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf?
-  /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-synaptics.conf?

Re: Thinkpad T61P - No Keyboard in X

aaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnddddddddd the problem is back.
Just re-installed (new HDD) and I have no keyboard under X unless I disable hot plugging.

xf86-input-evdev is installed
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf is there

no errors from the xorg log.
