Installing Arch under VirtualMachineManger on Ubuntu - Guest Additions

Hi there,

I am new here, and I installed ArchLinux on the Virtual Machine Manger on Ubuntu. I followed the instructions provided for beginners guide but I am not sure how to continue after seeing this note:

"Note: If you are installing Arch as a Virtualbox guest, you need a different way to complete X installation. See Arch Linux VirtualBox Guest, then jump to the configuration part below."

I didn't use VirtualBox and I used Virtual Machine Manager from ubuntu, and I was wondering If I still need to install these additions, or if there are some other additions that I have to install .

If there are , where I can find them and how can I install them?

Regards,
venix

If Virtual Machine Manager is a different virtualization platform than Virtualbox, then no, you don't / won't / can't install Virtualbox Additions as they are meant to work with Virtualbox.
