What is the best powersaving settings for booting off an external hdd? The drive in my Acer Aspire laptop died after six months and since then I've installed arch to my FreeAgent GO external hdd. I've installed laptop-mode-tools and I don't want my drive to spindown too often so can someone recommend options or post their config with a similar laptop?
