error after pacman Syyu

Today I've updated my system. 1.5Gb of packages ). The system was not be updated since about 1 year. But now while logging I get message "INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel" and system halts.
Searching the forum not gets any result.
Help, please!

This is a rolling release distro, kind of pointless to update once a year.

There have been a few backwards incompatible updates over the last year, did you follow the additional procedures needed in those cases?

This is likely your issue. Please read the front page news of the Arch website for the past year. There have been numerous updates that required manual interventions that could have broken your system.
