No sound in flash or realplayer.

The realplayer and flash plug-ins for firefox work, they just don't play any sound. I'm running firefox 1.0.4 in KDE. Sound on everything else works.

Here's my rc.conf

Re: No sound in flash or realplayer.

Update; I believe both work for Gnome, however still no luck for KDE.

Flash uses oss. Do you have oss emulation with alsa enabled?

Add snd-pcm-oss in your MODULES array in rc.conf. This should fix it.

Oops..didn't notice that you already have support for it included in modules array. Others have experienced similar problems. Have you already looked in other places in the forum like these:

It looks like you can pipe oss through alsa with aoss included in the alsa-oss package in the current repo.
